Techno-economic Feasibility & Multi-Criteria Decision-Making Research Group

👤 ผศ. ดร. คธายุทธ ก๋ามะโน

Techno-economic feasibility assessment of energy and industrial projects using multi-criteria decision-making.

Before any energy or industrial project moves from proposal to construction, it usually has to answer two questions: is it technically feasible, and is it economically worthwhile? This group exists to answer both of those questions systematically before the investment decision is made, reducing financial risk for public agencies and private companies alike.

Research includes life-cycle cost analysis for new technologies such as electric vehicles, feasibility assessment of energy infrastructure like LPG storage facilities, recycling process design for decommissioned renewable-energy equipment, and optimization of emerging clean-energy production processes, combining economic modeling with machine learning techniques.

Beyond the economics, the group also applies multi-criteria decision tools such as the analytic hierarchy process to help organizations choose the right machinery and suppliers — connecting its work to both energy-policy planning and day-to-day operational decisions inside a company.
