Educational Technology, Workplace Learning & Performance Measurement Research Group
Measuring and improving organizational and individual learning and performance through educational technology and knowledge management.
This group studies how people, organizations, and educational institutions learn and improve performance in an era of fast-moving technology — from employees inside a company, to university students, to children in primary and secondary school. Knowledge and skill are treated as resources that need to be measured and managed as deliberately as any other organizational asset.
Research covers measuring intellectual capital and organizational productivity, designing feedback mechanisms that drive employee learning, and identifying what makes people adopt mobile learning technology. It also extends into building cloud-based factory management systems and smart queue-reservation systems that improve service efficiency. More recently, the group has moved into robotics-education curricula for children and assistive robots for people with disabilities.
The range of topics reflects a shared view that learning isn't confined to a classroom — it happens on factory floors, inside government agencies, and in everyday life. The group's work is referenced both in academic knowledge-management circles and in the design of digital-education policy across the region.
